We encourage parties to take Crash Course Divorce before their first mediation session. This provides time to gather information and to prepare for discussions with the mediator. Attending this class, however, is not required.
When both parties are ready to schedule a mediation appointment:
Our office then will confirm the appointment by phone or email with all parties. The deposit is required to confirm your appointment. Any unused portion of the deposit is refunded in 1/2 hour increments.
Appointments are scheduled in three-hour blocks. To schedule a "full day" of mediation, simply schedule two appointments on the same day. This scheduling form below is used for mediations of separation, divorce, contempt/modifications, and child custody and support issues.
A total deposit amount of three-hours of mediation time is needed to confirm your appointment ($750.00). This deposit is refundable in 1/2 hour increments (for example, a deposit refund of $250 would be made if your appointment was only 2 hours).
